Welcome to the Fonseca Lab. We are located at the Center for Vector Biology in the Entomology Department of Rutgers  University, NJ. We mostly work on the ecology and evolution of mosquitoes, particularly  those introduced recently (the last 1-400 years) into new areas. The Fonseca lab is  equipped with the necessary and sufficient tools for ecological and evolutionary (population to phylogenetic) studies.
